Competition to find innovative technology solutions to boost tourism in Northern Ireland

Tourism NI are seeking innovative, real time tourism technology solutions through a £80,000 Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) competition.

The SBRI competition is seeking technology solutions to encourage visitors to explore more, do more and spend more during their visit to Northern Ireland.

How will the project be delivered?
The project will run in two phases.

Phase one will be a short proof of concept phase with up to five six-week contracts worth £3,000 for presentation of proof of concepts.  This will include access to Tourism NI data. The total budget for phase 1 is £15,000.

Phase two will provide a working prototype which will demonstrate real time solutions encouraging visitors to explore more of Northern Ireland. The prototype should also provide Tourism NI with an intelligent dashboard that provides real time data, measuring visitors’ movements around Northern Ireland, spend and experience. The total budget for phase 2 is £65,000.
